I've started this blog as I'm about to have major surgery and will then be having 6 to 8 weeks off work to recuperate. So I thought what better time to start.

I'll be sharing random musings, favourite recipes (all veggie), music, places to visit and some of my own photographs. I'm still an amateur and learning how to take better shots all the time. I'm also learning how to edit them in #AffinityPhoto.

Or I may just spend 8 weeks off my face on morphine.
